Music Quiz (blatently stolen from Charlotte)
Here are some quotes from some of my favorite songs, if you can name which the songs they are and who sings them then... you'll feel special.

    1) "You're always dancing down the street, With your suede blue eyes, And every new boy that you meet, He doesn't know the real surprise"

    2) "I gotta roll, can't stand still, Got a flame in my heart, can't get my fill"

3)"The eiffel tower and the taj mahal are mine to see on clear days, You thought that i would need a crystal ball to see right through the haze"

    4) "Even eve in eden, Voices tried deceivin', With lies to show the lady the way, At first she stopped and turned, And tried to walk away"

    5) "Now you always say, That you want to be free, But you'll come running back (said you would baby),You'll come running back (i said so many times before), You'll come running back to me"

    6) "We got sixteen men on a dead man's chest, And I shot those suckers and I'll shoot the rest"

7)"Crazy, but that's how it goes, Millions of people living as foes, Maybe it's not to late, To learn how to love, And forget how to hate"

    8) "You start a conversation you can't even finish it. You're talkin' a lot, but you're not sayin' anything. When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed. Say something once, why say it again?"

    9) "She keeps moet and chandon in her pretty cabinet, 'let them eat cake' she says, Just like marie antoinette, A built in remedy for khrushchev and kennedy, And anytime an invitation you can decline, Caviar and cigarettes well versed in etiquette, Extr'ordinarily nice"

    10) "Well I don't think you trust in my, self-righteous suicide, Why cry when angels deserve to die"

Today was many tons of fun, but first I'd like to mention that all the people who are upset that I don't update more often should deal with it...
Anyway, I can't really remember what happened with school, I did well on a physics test, and better on a math test, and Lia is in Israel, and David was sick. Other than that, nothing of any importance or interest happened.
After school Char and I went into the city, but first we went back to her house where nothing of much importance happened except she said "Yak ii poy." You're guess is as good as mine, she was trying to say something normal but, yea, something happened. Now onto the city, Char's mom gave us a ride to New Rochelle station where we got a bag of small cookies which were good, then on the Train ride there we listened to some songs from Avenue Q because those are funny. Upon arrival we simply had to stop and eat one of the "best sandwiches ever" which was actually pretty good albeit it was $7.50.
So, next we walked over to Rockefeller Center to see if we could go ice skating, but they were breaking up the ice, Char has some pictures of it. Anyway, from there we started heading toward the MoMA. On the way we saw a bicycle taxi which we took the rest of the way there. That was a lot of fun, lots of people staring at us in envy. So once we got there we got in for free (sweet!) and looked at some art. Some of it was pretty cool and interesting, some of it sucked so many kinds of ass. Especially the artists who color the whole canvas one color and sell it. IT'S NOT ORIGINAL, IT'S NOT ART, IT'S DUMB! But there were plenty others, especially one drawing of the Ocean which was amazing. I failed to realize it was a drawing at first, I thought it was a black and white photo. After being exposed to a horrible picture of some dude stretching out his breasts to look like a woman's (shudder) and holding a candle to it (shudder some more) we went out into the sculpture garden which was pretty cool and also housed very comfy wire chairs.
After the garden we left the museum and went down to Times Square (which we found because we are cool) We saw a bunch of Wicked signs and got some chocolate then got some pizza for dinner. One of my slices was supertastic to the max, then the chicken one sucked, but can't win em all... Then we walked back to GC, Char taught me about the numbering system in the City (not the streets the buildings) we got hot chocolate and went back home. Then we watched some Friends episodes (i have never seen a full episode before today) and now I'm here!

In short, today rocked, and was cool!
Edit: (oh and for pictures see Char's entry)

Apparently I have not been updating enough, and have been informed (forcefully) that I would do so now. Anywho, Greg Berlin created one of the best insults I have ever heard today, and I quote "Shut up you dirty rat fucker!" I mean come on, its a pretty damn good insult, its almost graphic. Also, on a completely different note, I'm gunna talk about skiing. Skiing is possibly the greatest sport ever made, I mean its just fun.
Anyway, I was doodeling yesterday and I realized for about the 50th time that if A had the artistic skills and the patience I could make a really great comic. Unfortunatly I have nither, but I already have great ideas. The best being the one where Carrot is the protagonest and the world is the kitchen, yea, people would actaully read that. Unfortunatly the world will never have the pleasure of knowing the various little stories that go though my head. heh... like buggy, he would make a good comic...
ANYWAY AGAIN, I finally convinced (told) my parents too let me stop taking the damn add medication. This is super great cause now i have an appitite again and I dont get jittery (which sucked)! Unfortunatly, now that i'm off the medication my mom is trying to convince me that it was actually helping, like when i finish my hw at 10 she decides its cause i am no longer taking the medication, but she forgets that it just might be because i started it at 9, and furthermore, when i used to take the medication it wore off by 4:30 therefore it never helped with homework in the firstplace!
TOPIC CHANGE ONCE MORE! Rome total war dosnt install on this computer but it installs on the downstairs one. This saddens me cause i have to leave my room to play it therefore i cant play it when i should be doing homework. Also my progress in the game is going really slowly because I cant get around to it much. This is even more frustrating cause its a friggen awesome game. Speaking of rome i shoudl really work on the research report, but i wont, cause i'm stupid...

I am now updating my blog, cause its important, and I have a lot to say about a lot of things. For example, procrastonation is a tremendous problem with todays youth. I see it all the time, people doing things other than homework and studying for global, for no reason other than sheer lazyness. Dispicable I tell you, and to make matters worse there are more and more things for these teenagers to procrastonate with! The internet alone can distract one for hours as they read way to many web comics such as www.squidi.net and www.vgcats.com.

In other news, I had a really weird dream that i dont remember much of, but the one scene that stays with me is when (in the dream) I opened the microwave to see if there was anything to eat and a little man with no ears who was in there yelled at me to go away. Yea, thats how weird it was...

And in more other news, hebrew school was interesting this week. The rabbi told us that perhaps we shouldn't attribute bad things to god, and we shouldnt attribute good things to him either, because since humans have free will he does not nescessaraly punish or reward us for our actions. This led to an interesting discussion saying "well in that case why follow all the rules he gave to us?" This led to more discussions that most of you probably dont care about. If you want to discuss theology then ask me any time, its fun!

So yea, thats all for at this time.

Mr. Browne is definitly annoying me again. I'll give him credit he was pretty tollerable for a few months there, but today he went and ruined it. He desides to spend an entire class debating with us weather or not its ok to kill those who are weaker than you (survival of the fittest). The thing is that there is no answer, there can be no answer, every time anyone has an arguement like that they always quickly come to the conclusion that its stupid to fight cause the answer dosnt exist, but not Mr. Browne. No he has to us on asking for reasons why genocide is bad, and he knows that any answer we give him is really really easily countered and at the end we will reach the inevitable conclusion that (supprise) THERE IS NO ANSWER. Its all one big charade with him, he thinks that somehow by arguing about it with us we'll come to the conclusion on our own which will somehow make us learn it better. The whole thing could have been him saying, "Darwinism contridicted many of the morals of religion and people used it as a justification to be imperialists." When people said it was moraly incorrect he could have stopped the whole damn conversation by saying "it may be, but they did it anyway." DONE. Instead he bores half the class to the brink of death, brilliant.

And math is pissing me off, no, the whole damn grading system is pissing me off, more on that later.

Ok, so i'm in amsterdam and there is a computer in the hotel room. I kinda feel bad about that becaues the point of a vacation (for me) is to take a break from life, but with the internet you are always connected to home. My solution? After this i'm not using it untill I get home.
    I am so brilliant!
Yea so its 9:47 here in the Netherlands, which is weird cause for all of you its like 4 which means my internal clock is very messed up.
Now i'm gunna go sleep cause I got about 4 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours. Oh and Amsterdam is fun, they have a very open society here. Ask me about the Red Light district sometime...

    So
There comes a time when everyone asks themselves, "what the hell am i doing here?" Supprisingly enough, this hasn't hapened to me yet, but when it does then you can be sure I'll be just as confused as everyone else going through it. There has gotta be some sense of community in that, like you are part of somehting greater. Or maybe you are just really really bored. I'd go with that latter.

Ok, seriously? Its all the fault of that dog at the end of the street, I was walking to the bus and it was yelling at me so I looked at it and missed the bus. Moral, dogs shouldnt be out in 12 degree weather. But actually it wasn't out there, i missed the bus cuase i slept late, I just made that up. It dosn't matter in the long run though cause change is inevitable, just like blinking.

Make sense yet? Good! thus ends the blog of today's making.
